Though this item looks well made and good quality, it does not fit my Suzuki DL650 V-strom. The wire is too short. I contacted Third Gear, the response was to suggest that I splice in an extension wire or return the item for a refund. I would have thought that it would have been better to have a longer wire for such items, as adventure bikes are generally bigger than "standard" and they are likely to be a significant customer for such accessories.
