Basic steps to repair damaged threads:

• Drill out damaged thread using correct size drill bit
• Tap re-drilled hole using tap supplied.
• Load coiled thread insert into installation tool.
• Screw thread insert into casting.
• Using the break pin tool and a hammer break of the installation pin.
